In Nantes, La Folle journée ended February the 3rd with a concert of the Spanish castanets player Lucero Tena.For its 19th edition, La Folle Journée has chosen to retrace or reexamine a vast panorama of French and Spanish music from 1850 to the present day, i.e. from Georges Bizet to Pierre Boulez, with an emphasis on that period which may be considered to be the veritable Golden Age of French music: from the 1870s to the 1940s.
145 tickets sold, 350 concerts, 47 conferences and 20 concerts outside of Nantes were the figures of this year edition.
René Martin, Artistic director of the event mentionned the 20th anniversary of the festival in 2014 which theme will be dedicaded to America.
