Bulgarian pianist Emile Naoumoff was recognized as a child prodigy from an early age. He was the last disciple of Nadia Boulanger, who referred to him as ‘the gift of my old age.’ Naoumoff became the youngest composer signed to publisher Schott Mainz in 1981, at age 19. Since then, he has performed all over world and has collaborated with some of the biggest names in classical music, including Yo-Yo Ma. He is currently a professor at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
