Cyprien Katsaris, the French-Cypriot pianist and composer, has won many international piano competition awards. His career includes performances with the world’s greatest orchestras and conductors. He played at Carnegie Hall on the 150th death Anniversary of Chopin and was the first pianist ever to give masterclasses in Liszt’s house in Weimar. After having recorded extensively for the majors (Teldec, Sony Classical, EMI…) he has created his own label, PIANO 21, in 2001 on which he released his latest record 'Beethoven: Concert no. 5 Emperor'.
