Rocky and Adrien are hardly unknown in the industry – they've both recorded several albums. But this duo recording is just as innovative and pleasing. Moignard and Gresset have held on to the best parts of their relationship to Django Reinhardt, beginning with their unwavering commitment to the acoustic instrument, as well as their use of the consummate art of musical conversation, holding their own against musical elders such as Biréli Lagrène and Sylvain Luc.
