Biography
Ophélie Gaillard is a French-Swiss cellist whose musical interests span a variety of genres including Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Contemporary. She won ‘Revelation: Solo Instrumentalist of the Year’ at the French Victoires de la Musique Awards in 2003. She recently released recordings of ‘Dreams’ with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (2009) and ‘Chopin’ with Edna Stern (2010).
