Puggy’s story could suggest the opposite direction of Dylan shocking the world in appearing on stage with an electric guitar. The group’s young men, England’s Matthew Irons, France’s Romain Descampes and Sweden’s Egil “Ziggy” Franzen, got together in the European capital, Brussels, and honed their skills as guests of the Smashing Pumpkins and Incubus. With baroque piano, soaring vocals and unpredictable Arcade Fire style formats, the trio became the first group to be signed in France to Casablanca, the reincarnation of the legendary Los Angeles label.
